The PTG Motorsport Cooling System for the AMG GT C190 is a serious cooling upgrade for M178-powered AMG GT models. Designed as a bolt-on solution, this system helps reduce intake air temperatures, improve heat management, and support more consistent power delivery under spirited driving, track use, and high-performance conditions.

One of the biggest limitations of the factory AMG GT cooling layout is how the intercooler cooling system and transmission cooling system are linked together. As transmission temperatures rise, intake air temperatures can also increase, making it harder for the car to maintain consistent performance. The PTG Motorsport Cooling System addresses this issue by separating the transmission cooling circuit from the main charge cooling system.

At the heart of the system is a 42mm thick PWR F1 main heat exchanger, offering a major increase in cooling capacity compared to the factory radiator. Unlike many aftermarket cooling upgrades, this system comes standard with precision TIG-welded billet aluminum end tanks for strength, durability, and proper fitment.

A dedicated transmission cooling circuit is also added, using a high-density 27mm PWR auxiliary transmission cooler with billet end tanks, a new coolant reservoir, brackets, hoses, fittings, and required installation hardware. Each radiator is built to aerospace-quality standards and pressure checked to meet or exceed OEM expectations.

This is an ideal upgrade for AMG GT owners looking to improve thermal efficiency, reduce heat soak, and support reliable performance from the M178 engine platform.
